Been reading through the documentation and forums but im still not seeing how to implement trunk recalling.
From an incoming Trunk Call, when someone is put on hold, after a specific amount of time, the extension that had the call starts ringing again to remind them they have a call on hold. Standard feature in most PABX’s but i cant see where to set it up in Freepbx.
I am not sure if you can do that with * or Freepbx but we configured our
Polycom phones to play a short tone to remind them that there is a call
holding. I forgot what it is called in the Polycom config but if you are
using Polycom phones I will look it up in the config.

If a call is parked, there is the option to ring back the original extension. I haven’t found an option to ring back a user who is on hold but you can put the call into the parking lot and then it will ring back the main user if on hold for a configurable time.
Probably not what you are looking for but a workaround?
