is there a way to setup “Trunk Dial Timeout” per trunk, one for mobile phone trunk (longer) and other for fixed phone (shorter) ?
What are you talking about?
Let me rephrase that - what are you trying to do? The reason I ask is because by the time a trunk gets involved, dial timeout isn’t an issue, so your question is the same as “How fast is a mauve database?”
Dial timeout is system wide, set as a global variable, TRUNK_RING_TIMER which is as specified in Advanced Settings. I can’t think of why one would need to, but you could use the custom dialplan and the macro macro-dialout-trunk-predial-hook to alter the value before the outbound dial.
