Trixbox, freepbx gui not showing

I have left a message on the trixbox forum but thought I would try here. This is a copy of my message:

I had this once before and re-installed the whole show. Version 2.2.4. After the re-install it worked fine. Someone mentioned there was a problem if you changed the default passwords (usual thing to do right?) and I thought maybe if I find the freepbx password stuff I could look at it. But I can’t find it.

So anyone know where the FreeBBX password stuff is kept so I can look at that or is this going to be a re-install again?

PS: this was working until I made changes to IVR and routes this weekend.

As said above, freepbx was working until I made changes in IVR, announcements and how calls were handled depending on the option pressed. Another words, IVR played etc.

Any thoughts?

It just sets there like it is trying to load the page. Watching the browser, Firefox, I can see the link in the lower left quickly change from my server to something else but can’t see what it says, too fast. But the page never loads.

clearing the browser cache? And if you ssh in and do a "sevice httpd restart" what happens?

no errors, I can see the browser flash to connecting to then right back to waiting for …

This is what I am getting in log/httpd/access_log (ip addresses replaced)

Also, FreePBX version # ?

This looks a bit like PBX in a Flash after you try and change passwords. But isn't.

I see on FreePBX 2.3.1.: [url is serverip/admin/]

clientip - - [27/Nov/2007:14:17:04 -0800] "GET /admin/ HTTP/1.1" 401 480 "

---

You are seeing: [url is serveripaddress/maint/] *** Here is the issue and it is a trixbox GUI/Password issue?

clientipaddress - maint [27/Nov/2007:15:19:32 -0600] "GET /admin/config.php HTTP/1.1" 401 2098 "http://serveripaddress/maint/" "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071025 Firefox/2.0.0.9

Me thinks the GET /admin/ and /maint/ don't mix somehow.

Try clearing the stored passwords out of Firefox. and this URL: http://serverip/admin/

Love to know which distro this is for sure.

using the //serverip/admin I am unable to log in. After trying multiple times it will hang like before.

shouldn’t the section

; user and secret for connecting to * manager
manager_user=UNUSED
manager_secret=UNUSED

have the same as manager elsewhere?

Never mind, I see where they are ignored.

I really hate to have to re-install Trix and go through the setup again. I know this isn’t the Trixbox forum but it appears to be a problem with FreePBX or perhaps a conflict between the two. As I said above using //serverip/admin I am unable to log in. Looking in amportal.conf and manager.conf the passwords are the same.
Any ideas anyone?

not what you are describing but…

Either use 2.2.3, 2.2.8 (does not have sataraid) or 2.2.9 (which is 2.2.8 with it)

2.2.4 has issues with zaptel, same with 2.2.5-2.2.7 (faxing issues and zaptel to start).
