Transfers to fixed-length extensions without timeouts possible?

I’ve searched the forum but I found just what I’m looking for … I would like to increase the waiting time to enter the number to divert for use traferire course * 2 I tried to enter the parameter “featuredigittimeout” in features_general_custom.conf then I restarted asterisk /etc/init.d/asterisk restart but the time always remains unchanged where am I wrong?

I would have hoped that Asterisk stopped looking as soon as the maximum number of digits was reached, but I always did transfers as SIP transfers, where the phone decided, so I’m not sure for features.
