I believe I have this correct. I need normal business hours Mon through Fri. and then Saturdays only from Oct 17 to Dec 20th. Can someone correct me if wrong please? I tried this last year and I remember some confusion.
That looks correct to me assuming Saturdays you intend to be open from 10:00AM-12:00PM. Do you have the Dial Plan Visualizer tool that @madgen created? It can be helpful to give you a visual for things like this.

it will only work from October 17 to 20 then from November 17 to 20 and from December 17 to 20
so you must to create 3 times:
- from October 17 to 31
- the whole month of November without days to specify
- from December 1 to 20
for conditions like that you can use the calendar module, it’s simpler
What you are saying is not correct. This will work as intended.

it depends on the freepbx versions… I still have it in 2.11 so as a precaution I do it like this and I’m sure it works and my customers are happy
