Time condition and ring groups

(Suriname) #21

Can you suggest how else I can find the logs for that time, please?

(Suriname) #22

ooh ok, thank you. Let me try this

(Suriname) #23

Hi,
This the result:
-rw-r----- 1 asterisk asterisk 2499067 Jun 8 14:34 /var/log/asterisk/full
-rw-rw-r-- 1 asterisk asterisk 5246432 Jun 2 03:27 /var/log/asterisk/full-20210 602
-rw-rw-r-- 1 asterisk asterisk 5434219 Jun 3 03:17 /var/log/asterisk/full-20210 603
-rw-rw-r-- 1 asterisk asterisk 5200703 Jun 4 03:13 /var/log/asterisk/full-20210 604
-rw-rw-r-- 1 asterisk asterisk 5229876 Jun 5 03:06 /var/log/asterisk/full-20210 605
-rw-rw-r-- 1 asterisk asterisk 5251067 Jun 6 03:15 /var/log/asterisk/full-20210 606
-rw-rw-r-- 1 asterisk asterisk 5284921 Jun 7 03:33 /var/log/asterisk/full-20210 607
-rw-r----- 1 asterisk asterisk 6062970 Jun 8 03:43 /var/log/asterisk/full-20210 608

(Andrew) #24

According to this the logs for that specific call would be in /var/log/asterisk/full-20210608

(Suriname) #25

Hey,
Look how can i get the logs

(Andrew) #26

the UID you are typing in for that call is wrong. Based on the screenshot of your CDRs, it is 1623069279.1839 - see the missing 9.

(Suriname) #27

yes you were right. But I think now it is correct?

(Andrew) #28

I’m not quite sure what to tell you, if it’s not in the logs then it’s not there. You could try to go through the file manually and look around the time the CDR is reporting those calls. Something like:

grep 09:34 /var/log/asterisk/full-20210608

There’s not much we can do for you without those logs, unfortunately.

(Suriname) #29

Hey I tried, but cannot see any calls. Hmm I understand what you are saying. I still want to thank you.
But is it not strange that those calls are not in the log? Can this be a bug?

(Suriname) #30

this what I got:

(Andrew) #31

Probably not a bug. It looks like you are missing a huge chunk of that log file, largely from that morning on 6/7.

(Jared Busch) #32

Click on the call ID to get the CEL of the call.
Then grep something in that such as the channel
image

Probably nothing since it seems your log was tampered or something.

But something else to search for.

(Suriname) #35

I have actually found something, I am attaching two pictures. Here is the proof that something went wrong.
The first picture is where the issue persisted. The second picture is where the incoming call is normal. And the ring groups works normal, as it should be,
I have indicated in the first picture, where it went wrong.

(Suriname) #36

I have attached two picture, here is the proof that there was an issue.
In the first picture, the call comes in to the ring group. It should start with front Desk and Lindsey only. But in the first picture it started with the extensions of Maureen and rishiana also.

In the second picture, you can see how the flow should be in normal situation.

(Jared Busch) #37

Pictures of the CEL do not give enough detail to know what happened.

If you have no logs, there is not much to do.
