Sysadmin Updates behind proxy Error fopen

Hi There.

This is my first post. I hope you guys can point me in the right direction.

I’m trying to update our version of Asterisk from 11 to 13. I could do it via CLI but since we have purchased the whole FreePBX package, including Sysadmin. I thought I’d just use it and save myself some time, next time

Our work environment relies on a proxy server to reach the internet. I’ve managed to update modules and activate freepbx behind the proxy with the help of this forum. Thanks again.

Now I haven’t found any information about the following

When I try to update the distro from Sysadmin module it comes up with the following error

fopen(http://upgrades.schmoozecom.net/updates.php): failed to open stream: Connection timed out

From my knoledge in php I think the script can’t reach that address. And since I’m monitoring the Proxy Server I don’t see freepbx being blocked at all. Which led me to think that perhaps there is another hidden file I need to udpate in order to let freepbx know that it should use a proxy server.

I hope you guys can solve my problem

I’m attaching a couple of pictures that my help you.

Thank you.

Fyi, I don’t think distro upgrades is going to upgrade your asterisk.

You have to do that manually.
