SysAdmin Pro not saving postfix config

I have a FreePBX 16 distro installed and the SysAdmin Pro.

I am experiencing issues with postfix where the settings configured in SysAdmin are not being saved to the /etc/postfix folder. This means the system continues to try direct email and not using our SMTP server.

Before restoring to having to manually configure the settings in main.cf (which makes the purpose of SysAdmin Pro for me somewhat limited), is there anything I can do to understand whether there is a permission or some other issue when I save the settings in the SysAdmin module?

If I do an ls -la on the /etc/postfix directory, then none of the timestamps are within more than 2 years of today’s date!

If this is caused by a permissions issue, it can probably be resolved by running this command as root:

fwconsole chown
