I have changed my web access port to be 8080, however the SysAdmin managed Fail2Ban is not trapping failed logins on this port. Looking at the conf files it still specified “http” for teh various rules, which in turn only mean it is looking for port 80.
How can I add port 8080 to “http” to ensure Fail2Ban is trapping failed logins on the various rules such as [apache-badbots] etc. ?
