Symlink Failed

Did a fresh install of 64 bit windows distro 12.0.50.1 a few days ago and everything s been fine.

This morning the Status GUI tells me:

retrieve_conf failed to sym link:
/var/lib/asterisk/bin/storage.php from sysadmin/bin (Already exists, not a link)
This can result in FATAL failures to your PBX. If the target file exists and not identical, the symlink will not occur and you should rename the target file to allow the automatic sym link to occur and remove this error, unless this is an intentional customization.

I’m not very familiar with this type of issue, anybody know why it’s happening and what to do about it?

If the target file (/var/lib/asterisk/bin/storage.php) exists and not identical, the symlink will not occur and you should rename (mv) the target file (/var/lib/asterisk/bin/storage.php.old) to allow the automatic sym link to occur and remove this error, unless this is an intentional customization.

Log in as root and do that.
