Strip Caller ID for a specific incoming route

Is there a possibility that you can stip the incoming caller ID, just one one incoming route and prepend something like “Private”? If so, can someone point me in the right direction for doing this?

Thank You

There is the Set CallerID module, you can route calls from that route thru this module to alter the CID. Original CID will still show up in CDRs but, will not show up on phones as they ring.

Thank you for the reply. I did look at that module, but I did not see where I could tag the caller ID for a specific incoming route. How do I make this module work only for a specific incoming route?

You use the destination of the inbound route to send the caller to the Set CID:

Inbound Route → Set CallerID → etc

I finally understood. Under inbound routes, instead of extensions / EXT#, I chose Set CallerID and I set the ext underneath the SetCallerID module. It worked like a charm. Thank you for your help!
