It is possible to set a department name up against a user. Function checkDept is called in a few places (e.g. Pinsets) but there doesn’t seem to be anywhere to say (for example) “this pinset belongs to this department”.
I noticed that a related bug (http://www.freepbx.org/trac/ticket/1107) has been closed but in 2.1.3 functions.inc.php still has the wrong code.
So my question is: is department checking only partially developed or is there something I’m missing? Perhaps it’s working in trunk? If it’s not working then is someone actively working on it? Perhaps I could help?
