Hi, I have sometimes static agents in queue not ringing
“queue show 702” says:
702 has 0 calls (max unlimited) in ‘ringall’ strategy (3s holdtime, 7s talktime), W:0, C:2, A:25, SL:100.0% within 60s
Cordless (Local/[email protected]/n from hint:[email protected]) (ringinuse enabled) (Invalid) has taken no calls yet
Centralino (Local/[email protected]/n from hint:[email protected]) (ringinuse enabled) (Invalid) has taken no calls yet
I have to fix with fwconsole reload, at least once a month
why is this ? I can’t wait for people asking me “why our phone are not ringing?”
What version of Asterisk? The
Invalid is a clue, the queue is not getting the status of the hint for some reason.
When is usually endpoint queried for state ?
At time intervals ?, at boot ?
I don’t understand why state goes Invalid, randomly in time…
I have investigated further with customer,
He told me the issue is present when pbx reboots (they have issues with faulty mains/UPS) !!
Probably those extension aren’t ready when queried for hints.
Why is this ? Any workaround ?
Logs would help a lot at this point.
It seems solved by disabling ‘Dynamically Generate Hints’ in advanced settings.
