For the trunk in question, check the setting of Asterisk Dial Options. It should be blank. If there is any t or T in there, remove them (assuming that you don’t use DTMF-based transfer).
For the extension in question, check the setting of Asterisk Dial Options. It should be ‘r’ (without the quotes). If there is any t or T in there, remove them.

What happens if you type fwconsole reload from SSH? Any Error?
Can you confirm that you’ve looked through all override files in the /etc/asterisk folder, to see if there might be something overriding the GUI.
