I have a number of SPA509g phones configured to get firmware and provisioning using http from a remote server. The URL in the profile rule is correct, because when I enter the same rule (with the $MA expanded to the MAC address) into a browser, I get my configuration as expected. BUT…when I put the exact same string into the profile rule, the server never gets the GET request, though the phone does appear to open a session because the server reports a 408 error from the IP of the network the phone is on. This used to work, but for some reason it no longer works. Firmware and EPM are up to date on the phones. The browser that succeeds in getting the configuration is on the same network as the phone. I extended the RequestReadTimeout to address the 408 error, but that did nothing to help. Any ideas?
