Sound goes on and off

I’m using 1.4.4 asterisk with 2.2.1 freepbx, g729 for some reason I when I dial out I can hear the person then the sound goes off and back on again.

I get the following error and don’t know how to deal with it. Can someone help? Thanks.

for starters, sounds clearly like an asterisk issue. It also sounds like you are using VAD detection - which doesn’t really work, at least not very well, from what I have heard - with Asterisk. Turn it off in your phone and see if that helps.
