[SOLVED] Upgrade from 10.13.66-7 & 8 to 10.13.66-10 Hung

I have two PBX’s, one was at 10.13.66-7 and the other at 10.13.66-8 and did the admin update to 10.13.66-10 and they are both hanging at “Starting Stage 2”. I know these can take a while so I’ve waited but now it’s been over 90 minutes and they are still at the same spot.

Generally during upgrades I’ll do a periodic ‘top’ to see if it seems to be plugging away and I’ll typically see activity around PHP and Yum and my CPU will sit around 20-70%, but right now both servers show 0% CPU and no tasks really doing anything at all other than the normal.

I’m afraid to do anything with the PBX’s because I don’t want to kill my systems and have to restore from backup.

Here is a paste from my upgrade (they both pretty much look the same):

still stuck? I by no means any kind of expert, but if it were me, I would be restarting and probably restoring at this point.

That’s my very last resort, a major pain to do that on two servers - one of which is hosted.

Yea, I can sympathize, lucky for me, I’m on a VM, so I just restore the VM using Veeam… back up and running within 15 or so minutes…

Well, it seems that the script is fine but the UI is the problem. I opened a new browser and hit both PBX servers just to see if they still worked (assuming they would not) and it worked fine. I went into Admin->System Admin->Updates->View Log and it shows that it worked fine. So the UI to show you the progress must be timing out:

For what it’s worth, mine did the same going to 10.13.66-10.

Thanks for the tip!
