[SOLVED] Unable to make Outbound calls UK ISDN

Something happened yesterday at some point.

Two month old installation has been working fine and all of a sudden, this morning there was no inbound or outbound calls.

I quickly rebooted and the incoming calls returned however we are still unable make outbound calls.

We get the message “The number you have dialed is not in service”

We have a Sangoma A500 BRI card and 4 ISDN channels

This also shows 6 channels when I only have 4.

I have also had the lines checked and they are all ok.

The configuration looks good to me, but I am not an expert. The fact that inbound is working is strange, give us a sanitized call trace of a failed outbound call, I expect there is a clue there.

Just also noticed that the occasional incoming call now displays ‘asterisk’ instead of the CID on the telephones.

I found the answer!

pridialplan and prilocaldiaplan

These were set to National - changed to Unknown and all is now well.

Now to figure out WHY it happened.
