What I said was true. It was poor advice due the assumption the trunk and endpoints where using the same tech but they were not so it’s why it broke other things while fixing one thing. So now everyone has learned that extensions and trunks do not have to be the same tech so before making port changes that could impact other tech it should be checked.
Agreed and yes, I am so very thankful advice is free on here - compared to the $400 they’d charge for 2 hours of support!
