Hi,
I’m new to Asterisk, I have installed ASterikNow, however, after installation I couldn’t get a phone register with Asterisk.
I can login to Asterisk machine by accessing the web Interface.
Status show Green “OK”
localhost*CLI> core show version

In Ethereal I see the Destination port not reachable.
I ran netstat on the Asterisk box & I see the following,
[root@localhost asterisk]# netstat -a | grep ^udp
udp 0 0 *:58402 :
udp 0 0 *:itm-mcell-s :
udp 0 0 *:831 :
udp 0 0 *:bootpc :
udp 0 0 *:mdns :
udp 0 0 *:sunrpc :
udp 0 0 *:ipp :
udp 0 0 *:39570 :
udp 0 0 *:mdns :
[root@localhost asterisk]#
There is no 5060 running on Asterisk. Do I have to change anything?
The problem Im facing is, I dont know where to start.
