I just wanted to give a shoutout to the development team of FreePBX/PBXact. We just upgraded from v16 to v17 and it went flawless. This was a large a large system with around a 100 extensions, lots of configuration. After restoring the backup (which took a while), we got our entire configuration back. We even successfully converted our chan_sip trunks to pjsip while restoring. After reading online we were a bit anxious to do the upgrade but the whole experience was flawless. So big thank you to the team, we also need to mention the positive experiences instead of only bringing up what doesn’t work
