Setting TLS and 5061 for Sangoma S500 phones via provisioning

Hi everyone,

just moved over to using pjsip TLS/5061 settings. This appears to have broken the phone settings as they default to UDP and port 5060.

when the phone gets updated… it sets it back to UDP and local sip port 5061, is there location in the portal or endpoint manager that this can be setup? - having a hard time locating this. we have to manually set the phone up again after any updates, as it reverts back to the 5060/udp settings.

to note we are using sangoma S500 handsets.

took a look at the d/p series templates and there’s a setting “Preferred PJSIP Transport” – suspecting the S500’s doesn’t support this via the template, and this is what we need?.

Have you tried to setup different EPM Template with HTTPS? and Change from EPM → MAP to use that template ? HTTPS with your certificate ?

Also Could be your S500 Phone Firmware is old.

Set the preferred transport from Auto to TLS in the Extension settings advanced tab. The phone template picks this up.
