Setting Join Announcement Message to Queue Position

(leah_b) #1

Is there a way to set the Join Announcement message to be the queue position announcement? That way, the member joining the queue would know their wait-time right off the bat. Below are my current settings for the queue

[690]
announce-frequency=15
announce-holdtime=once
announce-position=yes
autofill=no
autopause=no
autopausebusy=no
autopausedelay=0
autopauseunavail=no
joinempty=yes
leavewhenempty=no
maxlen=0
memberdelay=0
min-announce-frequency=15
musicclass=default
penaltymemberslimit=0
periodic-announce-frequency=15
queue-callswaiting=queue-callswaiting
queue-thankyou=queue-thankyou
queue-thereare=queue-thereare
queue-youarenext=queue-youarenext
reportholdtime=no
retry=5
ringinuse=no
servicelevel=60
setinterfacevar=yes
strategy=ringall
timeout=10
timeoutpriority=app
timeoutrestart=no
weight=0
wrapuptime=0
context=ivr-2
periodic-announce=custom/break_out_menu
lazymembers=no

Any suggestions would be very appreciated. Thank you!

Use the GUI. This is the FreePBX community. There is a specific module for this.

Which module? I couldn’t find it in Queues or Announcements. It would be awesome if this was already a feature in the GUI.

~Thanks
