I’m running FreePBX 2.5.1.1, Asterisk 1.4.25.1
Where can I change the playback message for when a SIP 404 is returned? Currently, when the user base mis-dials a number they hear “All circuits are busy now.” I would like to changes this to be something like “The number you have dialed is not in service…”

Hi dicko - thanks for the info. It’s got me looking in the right direction now.
I did not build this PBX system I’m working on; it’s something I inherited. Can you tell me if I modify /etc/asterisk/extensions_override_freepbx.conf as suggested, and it breaks things can I easily back it out by null’ing that file and running an amportal restart or stop/start?

yes it is easy to un-overidem jjust delete the relevent bits
