Sending fax from one account to another on the same server

I have Fax Pro installed.

I have created 2 extensions for fax only. The extension number is the same as the extension’s DID. If I try to fax from one of the fax accounts to the other it is failing. Is it possible to send fax fax from my PBX to my PBX?

Im not an expert on this but Im not certain fax detection happens from extension to extension.

Have you tried dialing a DID for the other extension so it goes out your trunk and back in just for testing?

Can both extensions receive a fax from an external fax machine? This way you know they are both configured correctly.
