SendAsDenied; [email protected] not allowed to send as [email protected]

FreePBX 16.0.40.8
SysAdmin Pro Module

trying to setup sending of email,but once again I can’t find the errs of my way.

followed all the postings on how to setup MS365 parameters and where.

apperas to authentic, but receive the following error:

to=[email protected], relay=smtp.office365.com[52.96.191.146]:587, delay=0.79, delays=0/0/0.58/0.21, dsn=5.2.252, status=bounced (host smtp.office365.com[52.96.191.146] said: 554 5.2.252 SendAsDenied; [email protected] not allowed to send as [email protected];

i do not have an account [email protected], but the [email protected] is the main email account i’m using to send the messages from.

Settings → voicemail Admin → Settings - > Email Config
Server Email = [email protected]

Sys Admin → Email Setup
SMTP Server: Use External SMTP Server
My hostname: mypbx.MYDOMAIN.ca (the dns entry name used to acess the pbx box)
My Origin: MYDOMAIN.ca (my main domain where my 365 is at)
My Domain: MYDOMAIN.ca (my main domain where my 365 is at)

also added the entries to the postfix/generic file as ntoed in some posts

not sure where i’m going wrong.

as a test, i created an alias [email protected], and did the test again, and I received the message…

is this correct???
