Any particular reason why System Admin doesn’t fill in /etc/resolv.conf based on the suffix of the FQDN from the Hostname settings page? Or at least add an entry to the DNS setings page to manually configure search domains.
Maybe because no one has ever asked the question?
Submit a ticket on the Issues tab and see what happens.
