I installed FreePBX. I noticed that sangoma linux is really cent os. I want to baseline the system. Do you think it would be ok to install baseline software for cent os in sangoma linux?
it all depends on if you are creating conflicts for dependencies, but in general, I would say yes. No one will be able to answer this 100% because the question is too vague.
This is an oversimplification. It is derived from and generally binary compatible with CentOS. They rebuild and maintain their own repositoroes which may in some cases be behind the upstream or altered from the upstream. Adding in upstream packages may break functionality
