Sangoma FreePBX 60 Appliance - Processor Architecture Type for Debian Upgrade

I would like to begin migrating our FreePBX 60 appliance to Debain/FreePBX 17. The FreePBX 60 appliance spec sheet states that an Intel Celeron processor is used which has an x86 architecture. Which Debian download do I use for this…

• Installation Guide for 64-bit PC (amd64)
• Installation Guide for 64-bit ARM (AArch64)
• Installation Guide for EABI ARM (armel)
• Installation Guide for Hard Float ABI ARM (armhf)
• Installation Guide for 32-bit PC (¡386)
• Installation Guide for MIPS (little endian)
• Installation Guide for 64-bit MIPS (little endian)
• Installation Guide for POWER Processors
• Installation Guide for IBM System z

I suspect the first item in the list, but I would like for someone to confirm this for me.

Thanks!

There is on FreePBX appliance. Only PBXact and version 17 for PBXact has not been released yet so the proper procedure is to wait for the new release of PBXact before upgrading the Sangoma appliances. I don’t think anything has been announced officially yet either as far as when the new version of PBXact will be released for the appliances.

Thank you, Igor, for that information. Our appliance 60 is running FreePBX, not PBXact.

I can’t remember if Celeron is 64 bit, but if 64 bit, amd64, otherwise i386,

ARM is mobile phones, Raspberry Pi’s, routers and set top boxes.

I’m not sure that I’ve ever met the last 4.

Thanks for confirming, David. Celeron is 64-bit architecture. The ‘amd’ part confused me…I thought it meant Advanced Micro Devices, a competitor of Intel who manufactures the Celeron.

It does stand for that but they use the same exact instruction set.

Intel had their own 64 bit architecture that claimed the most obvious code for Intel 64 bit, but was incompatible with the 32 bit and AMD architectures.
