So when we’re trying to connect to Sangoma Talk Desktop, we get the following warning : “You are connecting to a host that has an invalid SSL certificate, do you want to proceed?”.
When we click “Okay”, it works fine, but I would prefer for the certificate to work.
I’ve been trying to update them within the FreePBX itself by running “Run Domain Action” and “Update Certificates”, the certificate updates (expiring in 3 months), but I keep receiving the same warning message.
Deleting it and recreating it doesn’t help either. What is going on? Is there even a way to have more information about the specific Sangoma Talk certificate?
First of all, Sangoma Talk certificate (Run domain action) is entirely different then Sangoma Desktop client.
If you are facing an issue in Desktop client then please try to restart the haproxy in the freepbx system.
systemctl restart haproxy
I am suspecting , your PBX certificate might have got renewed recently and haproxy might not be potining to the latest cert, hence restart is required.
We have an improvement in queue to implement to auto restart haproxy as soon as PBX certificate gets update.
