After a recent FreePBX upgrade on a system - a newer kernel - this system no longer detects my Sangoma card as - Sangoma. I used the latest FreePbx distro to wipe the system & start over (thank goodness for backups)
Double-checking against my other system, I do see that the lspci #'s differ:
working:
04:03.0 Network controller: Sangoma Technologies Corp. A200/Remora FXO/FXS Analog AFT card
04:03.0 0280: 1923:0040
not working:
03:00.0 Communication controller: Tiger Jet Network Inc. Tiger3XX Modem/ISDN interface
03:00.0 0780: e159:0001
Oddly, In the not-working system, the POTS lines DO light up green when things are fully started. But wanrouter isn’t running, and wanpipe can’t install.
From setup-sangoma:
Generating configuration files for FreePBX
modprobe: ERROR: could not insert ‘wanpipe’: No such device
I have a VERY vague - years ago! - memory of having the card fault, and needing to replace it. I’m wondering now if I got a knockoff, and the kernel finally sees it that way ?
Same kernel on both.
3.10.0-1127.19.1.el7.x86_64
I did find another person on google with a similar experience, their team rolled the kernel back. I didn’t have any success doing that.
Any assistance you can give is appreciated.
