I hope I’m posting this in the right area, but if not please move to the correct forum. I’m a new PBX admin for my company and we are running PBXact. They are wondering if there is a anyway to integrate Salesforce with the PBX? I went through the cert training in Cleveland a few months back but don’t remember seeing anything about Salesforce or any other CRM being integrated into the PBX.

Typically, you integrate Asterisk (and by extension, FreePBX) with SalesForce, not the other way around.
Having said that, there are several ways to do this integration and examples can be found with SugarCRM and VTiger.

For giggles, I googled “salesforce asterisk integration”
The top 10 were all good hits, some commercial products and some SalesForce forum posts. All of them seemed to indicate that this is all prior art and should be relatively simple.
