S500 PC Port issues

S500 PC Port will not change.
I have tried both the phone console and the GUI to change the PC Port to [Connect to Expansion Module]

Options = PC Port
As Bridge
Connect to Expansion Module
As Router

Phone will not accept change to Connect to Expansion Module.
After selection of [Connect to Expansion Module], the SaveSet and reboot does not save the change.

Am I missing something here?

Which firmware version are you on?

Also, why aren’t you using endpoint manager?

The toggle button, either from the phone itself or via the GUI will not change.
I would have assumed that this could be done on the phone-set instead of in Endpoint Manager.

You can’t change anything in the GUI if using EPM some EPM writes out a config file and each time the phone boots it pulls the config file which takes priority over the phone GUI changes.

Why are you trying to change this manually. Just go into EPM and edit the extension in extension mapping and tell it the expansion module it has and apply the changes and the phone will make all the changes from EPM.
