in our scenario we have employees which may be move to other branch office with his ip phone.in each branch we have a trixbox server with its extension.we have IAX trunk between them.
is it possible to design a plan such that we easily dial his own extension from internal branches and external without changing his extention.
That seems like an awful lot of work to transport the phone.
Why don’t you use device and user mode? The user can simply log in at each office with their extension.
Also, this is FreePBX support. trixbox “forked” or modified a very old version of FreePBX and then abandoned the project. trixbox runs both an unsupported FreePBX and Asterisk. I suggest you update the software on those systems to a modern, supported FreePBX/Asterisk.
