Ring group w/custom extensions and ring time

I have 2 custom extensions (external #s) that I have in a ring group. One of the external #s is a Sprint/Google Voice # that automatically answers after a period of time (~15 secs approx). I set the ring group to roll to an internal PBX extension after 15 seconds, then 10 seconds, then 8 seconds and now I’m at 3 seconds.
Calls to that ring group just continue to ring until GVoice answers.

I have the ring group setting as ringall, 3 seconds ring time, the 2 extensions (external), and no answer to an internal extension. All other setting for the ring group are the defaults.

The custom extensions are set with dial as Local/[phone #]@from-internal. All the other settings are default.

Any ideas on why the ring time doesn’t seem to be working? I’m running FreePBX

I bet it’s your Google voice number is actually answering the call and playing ringing back so the ring groups sees it answered.
