Ring Group question

Good afternoon,

I would like to ask (as never saw it before current release of FreePBX and Asterisk 13) about Ring Group behaviour when it does check status of extension.

We have configured one ring group with Cisco 7940 (2 lines) in it. Basically issue is that when we have more then 2 calls to that Ring Group 3rd or 4rd or … caller gets to voicemail directly, because dialparties.agi recognize asterisk ext status 8 (RINGING) as one of the busy ones.

Is it correct behavior? Do we need to move to the queues to have more then 2 calls served by all extensions?

Move to a queue would be more appropriate.
