Ring Group problem

Have two systems connected via sip. 1XX extensions on one site and 2XX extensions on second site.
Created a ring group for incoming calls which included some extensions from both sites.

Calls come in to site one and ring all extensions. Works great.

If an extension at second site puts itself in DND, the incoming calls all fail. Is there a solution to this short of removing the DND button from the phones?

Have you tried creating a ring group at the 2XX site and ring that from 1XX instead of including 2XX extensions on the 1XX system. To see if the behavior is the same? Just a thought.

Adding ‘confirm calls’ to the ring group will fix.
