No it’s a schmooze.com freepbx appliance, I have maintained it, but it is 100% stock from how I ordered it. I have updated the distro with each new stable version.
The plot thickens, my sangoma a200 card may be the culprit. Maybe it got hit with the rare over-the-phone-line surge triggering a reboot of the server over the weekend.
Maybe there was file corruption due to that?
I can route through the network from endpoint to endpoint fine now. And asterisk now appears happy, but it barfs somwhere when the server is rebooted.
Inbound and outbound of the POTS lines is not working and the A200 is now not listed in my DAHDi configuration on the portal.
Anything I can do to check the health of this card?

I have spent the last few hours essentially reinstalling the distro by hand, and somewhere along the way something in my configs got overwritten, because I am now able to make outbound calls but all inbound calls go directly to the VM extension

Aren’t all of those supposed to be FUNCTION PJSIP_HEADER?
I wish there was a button that completely removed CHAN_SIP and forced PJSIP everywhere in the distro…

The function isn’t being run on any type of VoIP channel.
FreePBX calls chan_sip and chan_pjsip set header functions without checking the channel type, on the grounds that an error just means nothing happens, and one will work if any work. Your actual device is DAHDI/2, which is either the second analogue line, or the second channel on a primary or basic rate ISDN or other circuit switched digital interface. (Actually I think the channel numbers are indirected through chan_dahdi.conf, so may not represent the physical ones.
It is plain I have just enough knowledge to get me in trouble here, maybe I need to get more logs to see why this extension I have isolated this thing to is never getting the call
I am also trying to do this on the side between patients (dentist), so I am sure I didn’t remember to re-enable the verbose sip logging
Calls to our fax machine which is not a VOIP phone are getting routed appropriately… so I thought I had a SIP problem… maybe it’s something more simple, I set this up so long ago and it has been so bulletproof for years I have forgotten where what setting is

This is the part where Asterisk attempts to determine the device(s) associated with ext 100 so it can dial them:

Looking like you have missing AstDB entries for this extension, my guess is that all calls to ext 100 will fail, not just inbound calls thru dahdi. You can try resubmitting the extension 100 page and apply config to see if it resolves.

Extension 100 is the VM and is working.
I am going to delete all my extensions, ring groups, and dial plans, and re-create. I only have 8 extensions under one ringgroup, and it’s such a simple setup I really need to re-learn everything, because I am uncomfortable with how much I have forgotten since I set all this up.
The file corruption theory has me thinking a clean slate might be the best.
Ding ding ding! That fixed it for my test extension, once I did it (3000) instead of the voicemail extension (100), AWESOME! SO now I will re-submit each extension and see if I can re-enable the ring group once I test it with each one.
