- Retrieved Module XML Was Empty

Hello,

I’m showing xmpp not installed but needs an upgrade, so during the upgrade process it fails.
I then ran from the command line:

fwconsole ma download install xmpp
No repos specified, using: [commercial, standard, extended, unsupported] from last GUI settings

Starting install download…
The following error(s) occured:

  • Retrieved Module XML Was Empty

Not sure the best way to resolve this, any assistance appreciated.

What’s mpp? It’s not any module sangoma distributes. Therefore the xml is empty.

Hello,

Typo here, but used proper command xmpp, I literally just edited it.

No. You didn’t use the right command. It’s downloadinstall. You told the system to download the module named install

You caught me!

I did that and ended up with the following:
fwconsole ma downloadinstall xmpp
No repos specified, using: [commercial, standard, extended, unsupported] from last GUI settings

Starting xmpp download…
Processing xmpp
Verifying local module download…Verified
Extracting…Done
Module xmpp successfully downloaded
Installing/Updating MongoDB…MongoDB is not installed
Unable to install module xmpp:

  • Failed to run installation scripts

The I tried to yum install mongodb-server with no module available

This was a recently updated ISO, currently at 6.12.65-32, to prepare for v14

No support for this version. If you are running 64 bit, there are scripts to upgrade in place to take it to 10.13 then SNG7:

https://wiki.freepbx.org/display/PPS/FreePBX-Distro-6.12.65
https://wiki.freepbx.org/display/PPS/FreePBX-Distro-10.13.66
https://wiki.freepbx.org/display/PPS/Upgrading+from+FreePBX+10.13.66+to+SNG7

Otherwise you can migrate your settings to a new SNG7 install with this:

Thanks for the response, not sure but I thought we had upgraded up to the 14 upgrade, I will go back and investigate.

Thanks again!
