RESOLVED: Module Update "Whaa" Problem

Worked for me too, nice work el_es!

Just added it now, I daren’t do mine either.

I got the same problem, can you tell me how to rollback

If you go into Module Admin, Check Online, then go to System Admin, Click Previous and then select 12.0.28.2 and Rollback.

Thanks , it worked for me, roll back is the trick, thanks you again, saved me lots of time.

Thanks the Rollback worked , will wait for the next fixed System Admin Module

[edit: sorry for the noise not relevant]…

The post you quoted from @xrobau was from over a week ago, EDIT: this is likely something different, if you open a ticket at issues.freepbx.org, that is the quickest way to get attention to any issues. I have some people looking at the issue.

There is a bug open. Many of us are having the same issue.

d’uh. sorry for the noise. I’ll unlink that…

But, a development has shown on the bug:
http://issues.freepbx.org/browse/FREEPBX-9210
(revert/rollback does work, and someone had to reboot AFTER rolling back and it helped; See the ticket for details http://issues.freepbx.org/browse/FREEPBX-9210 )
So if one has this problem, then rolls back the module, and still there is a problem [but a different one], reboot SEEMS to be fixing it (but AFTER the rollback, NOT before!)

Hello,

I have recently updated my server and now it is not running. I receive following error:

[root@voip ~]# amportal reload

Fetching FreePBX settings with gen_amp_conf.php…
/usr/local/sbin/amportal: line 52: Whaa: command not found

/var/lib/asterisk/bin/freepbx_engine: line 100: Whaa: command not found

Try `mkdir --help’ for more information.
**** ERROR: COULD NOT CREATE ****
Attempt to execute 'mkdir -p ’ failed with an exit code of 1
You must create this directory and the try again.
[root@voip ~]#

I have checked the line 100 and it appears that there is a elseif statement have incorrect spelling?

I am running FreePBX Distro

Any help is much appreciated.

Check out the ticket here:

There are details on how to roll back the system admin module version to fix.

Hi,
I just updated 2 modules (cidlookup and systemadmin) and now all of a sudden the main page [myserver]/admin/config.php shows ‘Whaa’ text at the top of the page. (as do ALL the FreePBX GUI pages too) I can log on and log off, it makes no difference - the System Status page does not finish loading any more…

(btw the update process did not finish properly, there was a timeout message some time after pressing ‘Apply Config’ - but alas it seems I can access other settings/modules and phones are still working)

[root@sip ~]# amportal a r

Any body can help?

Please start following http://issues.freepbx.org/browse/FREEPBX-9210 we are all having the same issue who have updated their servers.

Resolved in 12.0.28.4 for me.

Yes per [FREEPBX-9210] Whaa on Web Interface/CLI after Installing Module Updates - Sangoma Issue Tracker this is resolved in sysadmin 12.0.28.4
