Request-Line Invite change

i would like some help. for outgoing calls i need to change my invite link from

Request-Line: INVITE sip:[email protected]
to
Request-Line: INVITE sip:[email protected]

my current sip trunk settings are as follows

host=fixedimsmey.duentdxb.duvoip.fmc
fromdomain=du.ae
[email protected]
secret=xxxxxxxxxxxxx
type=peer

chan_sip will be removed completely in next year’s release of Asterisk.

username does nothing unless you have a dynamic host, and even then is rarely useful. It is not the current official name for the parameter.

The request URI will always use the value of host. If that is not where you actually want to send the request, you will need to define an outbound proxy to specify what you currently have in host.
