I agree, its confusing but once you know how to do it, its easy! I had to have support walk me through it a long time ago.
You need to log into your Sangoma Portal and go to “Reports” on the left hand side… Then click on “Sales-Module Renewal By Deployment” and there you will see every module for every deployment with an “Add to Cart” button next to every one.

Inline upgrades did exist in FreePBX 15 and 16, but they were implemented on top of CentOS/Red Hat distributions—both of which did not officially support OS-level inline upgrades. As a result, we had to develop and maintain complex, custom upgrade mechanisms to handle all the scenarios, and that process was extremely time-consuming.
This complexity, along with the need for a straightforward OS-supported upgrade path, was a key factor in our decision to shift to Debian, which natively supports inline OS upgrades. My earlier comments were specifically influenced by the challenges we faced trying to upgrade PBXact cloud instances, where these inline upgrades were not feasible due to other infrastructure limitations.
