Remotely checking multiple VMailboxes

For an all-volunteer theatre (meaning we don’t work onsite unless we need to). We have two voicemail boxes, both on a virtual extension - one for the box office (anything to do with ticketing), and a general one for the theatre (everything else). The box office staff checks both VMailboxes) they used to have one VMB, there are now 2 so they can get to the ticketing issues faster).

IVR has “you can dial an extension at any time” turned off. There is a hidden (unannounced) IVR menu option that dials *98, then the box office staff dials a mailbox number, password, and off we go.

Problem: To check the other VMailbox they have to disconnect, dial in again, yada yada yada. Is there anything they can key in to get to the other mailbox? I tried *98 while in one VMB, didn’t work.

Why not forward Voicemails of both to like a group mailbox? May not be what you wantes to hear but that’s one solution. The group mailbox can distribute to emails you want notified.

Not at a FreePBX instance now, but I remember a feature that would automatically distribute the Voicemails to specific extensions.
