Redefine passwords for XMPP after upgrade to 13

Just upgraded from 12 to 13 and now when trying to enable XMPP for a user, a browser popup wants me to redefine my passwords.

After the upgrade all my users had xmpp to off. Now I would like to enable it for all, but having to change the password for existing users is very inconvenient.

How can I enable xmpp for a group without having to change passwords for all users?

Xmpp Auth is based on plaintext passwords. It’s how prosody interfaces with systems (especially ldap through freepbx) thus you gave to redefine the password otherwise prosody won’t ever know what the password is.
