I have been asked by our IT Director to research the feasibility of changing VoIP platforms away from Cisco Call Manager over to open source. I have installed FreePBX several times for smaller organizations around town on my own and was wondering what a large deployment would look like. We have about 1100 phones and about 50 simultaneous calls on average. We were also hoping to use VMware to host the servers. Any advice would be welcome

We work with a lot of companies trying to do larger roll outs and have a great track record on this. 1100 phones is not hard to handle at all.
