Re-recording a system recording from a phone does usually pickup the * to re-record

Hello,

I am having a lot of problems with re-recording of system messages. It plays the system recording then prompts to press 1 replay or * to re-record. When I press * I get the following message “I’m sorry that # is not valid” and it disconnects.

This doesn’t always happen, but more times than not.

I have not had any other problems with DTMF and this one is very common.

Also, along with that, is there a way to have it when I press a key skip playing the recording? When I press a key it dials that extension.
