.raw files filling up disk space

Hi,

I am having an issue with .raw files filling up disk space. They are being saved in /var/spool/asterisk/monitor. I have been removing them periodically to free up disk space but does anyone know a way of stopping these .raw files from being written?

freePBX version: 12.7.5-1807-1.sng7

Much Appreciated

James

I suspect someone is recording calls.

If you want more information on the files, you can log into the console (or “ssh” in), “cd” to the /var/spool/asterisk/monitor directory and type “file *.raw”. You should get an indication of what the actual file content type is.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for your response.

I have setup the pbx to record calls which it is doing with no problems.

I’m just confused as to why it is keeping these .raw files in /var/spool/asterisk/monitor
