Raspberry Pi, not accepting second at command

Hi
I am able to dial using the command…
dongle cmd dongle0 atdXXXXXXXX;
It accepts and dials.
But, its not accepting additional commands like ath etc…

I need to Hold “!” and dial another number to put both in conference.
