Queues Fail Over To Other Queues

We are observing a reoccurring phenomenon.

  • Max Queue time threshold is met in queue.
  • The caller fails over to another queue to be answered.
  • Lots (10’s) of not in use agents, and other agents taking calls before and after these failover calls.
  • Instead of being answered, the failover call just stays in the new queue before it ages out eventually.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any ideas?

I’ve not witnessed this, but I’ve heard reports of something like this happening with autofill enabled.
