Queue calls delayed

Hi,

I have two boxes. One in Europe and one in Latinamerica. I set up a trunk between both peers so that any extension can be reached through that trunk using outbound rules. It works nicely, even with external agents (those in the other box) as queue memebers.

However, when I give external agents greater priority than those in the box where queue is configured, things start to mess up. It works ok when there is only one queue with this configuration. But with 5 queues, calls start to behave not as usual:

  • The calls in queue get delayed (it takes a time to deliver each to an agent) and in some cases, agents don’t get to pick up the phone due to the short time that the phone rings (agenttimeout=15).

These are my extensions set in each queue and their priorities:

2805,1
2822,1
1881,2
5806,2
5808,2
1884,2
1883,2

1XXX are the ones that are configured in the same box as queues are. The rest are reached through trunk.

Any idea on why this is happening or how can we solve it?

Regards,
B
